Telekom Austria Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the company Blizoo Macedonia. Blizoo Macedonia is one of the largest cable operators in the country that offers services for TV, broadband and fixed telephony.
The sale, which is subject to approval pcram from the relevant institutions (Commission for Protection of Competition RM), an important step in meeting the convergence strategy of the Telekom Austria Group. This purchase will allow Vip Blizoo in the future to offer packaged fixed and mobile services on another market in which Telekom Austria Group operates, or in addition to Austria, Bulgaria and Croatia, which fully enables the Group to expand existing markets with converged services.

Blizoo Macedonia currently has 63,000 subscribers, of which 47,000 are subscribers to broadband services.
