After 30 years, I finally achieved my dream of traveling to London. We were there in June 2013, is difficult to travel to London ap taric for some Mexicans, especially whole families (we are 4 adults) because the exchange ap taric rate does not help us much (20 pesos for a pound), however, we were able to travel without spending too: First, we find an OFFER tickets, travel ap taric by British Airways direct flight (which is excellent ap taric by reduced travel time and did not need to get the U.S. visa). We also rented a lovely 2 bedroom apartment instead of a hotel. (Phoenix Heights by BridgetStreet). We read of many bad experiences "not very expensive hotels" in London, so the rent became a real and accessible for the city option, not only for the price, but because it was also a very enriching experience of living ap taric as a "Londoner", get on the subway, buy at the supermarket, etc.. I guarantee that if there is much to do in London without spending a penny extra: Well, my advice ap taric to save and especially enjoy this beautiful city are:
2.-Check for pages that have options to do "FREE" ap taric in London, and that while some of the best museums are free (you just have to register in advance as a "friend of the museum"), most attractions, churches, buildings, etc, if they charge an entry (from 3 to 19 pounds x person)
3.-Buy ap taric a card for the metro, we purchased Oyster for zones 1 and 2. With it we were able to reach most of the major attractions in London, and feel the "experience" ap taric of the metro (anyone who knows the subway in Mexico City will see that it is SO SIMPLE), we get on the red truck 2 story we traveled by train and ferry to.
4.-The issue of food. Us to rent an apartment equipped, could make breakfast and dinner ap taric there, spending about 10-12 pounds per day for both meals (we bought a Tesco Super was about 3 blocks, milk, cereal, toast bread, ham, eggs, sausage, fruit, soft drinks, etc). If you do not want to cook, there are also options of food ready to heat in the microwave. The noon meal in the restaurants did as Pret a Manger, Subway, bought at street stalls even "hot dogs", fish & chips, African, Lebanese, Italian, Spanish, etc.. An excellent option is to eat in the "markets" as Portobello, Covent Garden, etc.. since there is an impressive variety of food from all over the world, about 5-6 pounds per person (100-120 ap taric pesos) We would fill bottles with tap water in the depa (which is totally safe), not to buy on the street, as a coke tin can cost more than 1.50 (30 pesos). And you know that Mexicans have iron stomach. Either way cocaine was super light (1 liter) in 1 pound (20 pesos), the joke it is to look
Case 5.-The bathroom is also important in many subway stations are no toilets but charged between 30 and 50 penny
