I submitted a comment on the site last year due to a sharp rise in tobacco duty-free in Leifstöð, from July to September 2008. This was clearly not exaggerating remarkable at the time and I remember that it received comments from some readers that this site was only normal increase ccla due to the depreciation of the Icelandic krona. But now it is interesting to trace the continuation of the story rara year later, in July 2009, that same gallon established in 3599 and in September it costs 4,199 kr. I know some feel comfortable raising tobacco freely, but I think this beats most of the increases. July 2008: 1,590 kr. - September 2009: 4,199 kr. It makes certain 264% increase over a year! A considerable part of this increase is due to Anna increase in other taxes related to tobacco. And so, given that the health of those who smoke is worse than a whole compared to non-smokers, they put the same more stress on health. Is not it only fair that the group pays for it? Reply Delete
Stop smoking Sigurd! Much cheaper for the rest of us non-smokers, who had to pay for all the medical services you need to keep if you get lung cancer or heart attacks directly attributable to smoking. Health care is a public service ie everyone can benefit from it. That's why people pay taxes. The taxes our going into this, it may be cheaper now if people quit smoking, then you could take the money that goes to cure smokers and used something else ..... Stop whining so this hell! It is quite natural that it needs to raise the tobacco to the price of tobacco is the same as the cost resulting from the community! Reply Delete
